Fitbit app wont download windows 10 free
I just wanted to let you know that I have moved your post from the Charge 3 board to the Windows app board, since I think that here you will be able to see more related topics about the Fitbit app.
Now about your download issue, can you please provide me more information? How are you downloading the app? In the meantime, you can check the help article About the Fitbit app.
Hope to hear from you soon. If you like something I recommended, I encourage you to mark that reply as “Best Answer”. Hi, My name is Myriam. Is amazing how you continuing use fitbit. I’m disappointed because I used 3 fitbits the 2 Surges I have works fine but the belt doesn’t have replace. I can’t use, 6 months ago I get a Versa. I travel and the date and time changed.
When I want reset the watch I can’t do it. I talk with 2 technicians in the help web. They want I get Iphone or Ipad to setup again. I using android not apple products. I trying with my cell motorola and with my windows 10 Lenovo. Nothing works. I give up. Amazing is an understatement. If I could find a good Dashboard like the one Fitbit uses and I use to track everything including calorie intake and a Fitbit like product that will do the data transfer of most data to the dashboard. I am willing to look at it.
Any thoughts? Hi Harry thanks for posting the outcome of this workaround. I’m sure this will help others. If you keep having issues with the Fitbit app on your computer, please keep me posted. Fitbit app wont download windows 10 free. How Do I Get the Fitbit App on Windows 10?
After installing the app, you need to pair your Fitbit tracker with the Windows 10 PC. You need to follow the steps outlined in the user guide. Click on the next button, which is the arrow at the bottom of the application window. Navigate to the Control Panel and click the Bluetooth option. Then, place the tracker close to the USB dongle. Click this and wait for the process to complete. First, you need to connect to another network. Try to connect to a location where you get a good signal. You might find the problem is the time zone.
It may not sync with daylight saving time. If this happens, you need to adjust your settings. If the problem persists, restart your Fitbit. It may take some time to sync. To fix this, you need to reboot your Fitbit. The update process is easy, but it requires a reliable internet connection.
After the process is complete, restart your Fitbit to ensure it has a good battery life. If you still have trouble, contact Fitbit customer support for help. Then, you can follow the steps to update the firmware. If you have an older version of Windows 10, you can try updating the Fitbit app by following these steps. You can download the new version of the app from the Microsoft Store or the Windows Store. Nice help wynd Thanks for all the steps you’ve tried.
Please check that your computer is running the latest update, turn off your computer’s firewall as sometimes it doesn’t allow the Fitbit App to run.
Then try to download it again. What type of computer are you using? I now have a Samsung Gear Fit 2, which was so simple to set up and works fantastic.
Hi skyleapa and francis48 thanks for getting back. Some computers are showing errors while downloading the Fitbit App but sometimes after turning the firewall off it is able to be installed. In your case if you already tried that I’d suggest using the Fitbit Connect program to sync your data. We might have to wait for the next update or until we receive more information regarding this issue.
To be honest, after spending what I have on Fitbit Surge, Ionic, Flex 2 and having such a horrible time attempting to connect to either Windows 10 or Android. At least I got my money back on the Ionic. The part that really annoys me is that my wife had the same problems with the Charge 2 and was given a direct link to the Fitbit App so she could download it.
I wanted to use Fitbit even after the problems she had so that I could be “compatible” with her. When I had the same problems, I tried to get the link from Fitbit support, because I had lost it, not realising that I would need it again, no one at Fitbit knew anything about a direct link. After trying the Surge and Ionic with no success, I went out and purchased a Samsung Gear Fit 2 and it worked immediately with no problems, and It even allows access to all reports directly on the watch and has superior messaging and SOS abilities far above any Fitbit.
The thought then occurred to me that maybe because the Surge and Ionic were later models than the Charge 2 that there was some “upgrade” that was causing problems, because the Charge 2 did connect but we had problems downloading the App. On the basis of this I purchased a Flex 2 so I would have some compatibility with my wife’s charge 2.
It still did not connect, apparently needing a dongle For what reason, only God knows. Voila, it connected with the dongle, but I could still not get. I finally gave up in disgust, vowing to never again buy any Fitbit product. When my wife’s Charge 2 bites the dust, she will not buy another Fitbit either. I am a software engineer, so I can see just how poorly run your software department is. Any search will show that I am not alone with these issues concerning Fitbit, and you have done nothing to address it.

I am going to put the most frustrating thing in capital letters, not because i am yelling, but because, just maybe, you might read it and it might sink in. My wife had the same issues and fitbit gave her a direct link to download the fitbit app.
No one at Fitbit knows the direct download link to the Fitbit app. This is totally unacceptable, because my wife has already used the very same link. I purchased a Samsung device and had none of the issues I had with Fitbit.
Do you think I will buy another FitBit? Do you think my wife will buy another Fitbit? Do you think any of my friends will buy another Fitbit? They want I get Iphone or Ipad to setup again. I using android not apple products. I trying with my cell motorola and with my windows 10 Lenovo. Nothing works. I give up. Amazing is an understatement.

Tonyaa Welcome to the Forums! Thanks for sharing this information with us. Sorry for the issues you’ve had with your Fitbit devices. Other than that, it is truly great! I used to love this app, but its gone downhill severely in the last year or so. The food tracking doesn’t work like its supposed to. From the main screen, it doesnt say what calories Ive input so far. When I go in to log anything, it no longer remembers my “recent” and “frequent” things. Ive had the same thing for breakfast the last 4 days in a row and had to manually search each time as it doesn’t remember it from the day before.
If the bugs get fixed, Ill update my rating. The app is okay. Features are not laid out well.
